Get Going... Greener! Giveaway!

~~ Giveaway has now ended!  Many thanks to all who entered! ~~

We're all busy.  And with school and aaallll the autumn activities revving up, it's about to get even busier

I want to make it a little bit easier on you during this hectic season.  And why not be a bit greener at the same time?  So I'm giving away a whole set of going-greener items to help you out!

First up:  this fresh new tote bag, from my new fresh line!

made from soft, sturdy osnaburg and sweet vintage linens

. . . perfect for shopping, toting books, hauling baby gear.  Did I mention it's soft, sturdy, washable?

And I'm also giving away my newest item -- not even in the shop yet! -- stylish, reusable grocery bags!  I've wanted to offer these for-ev-er, and I'm so excited to finally be able to do so!

 look!  They roll up teeny-tiny!

I have to say we use these in our family all the time.  Shopping?  Well, yes -- when I remember.  (So not as often as we should.)  But picnics?  Day trips?  Zoo trips?  Yes, yes, and yes!  These are so sturdy, and so deceptively roomy, you'll be amazed at how versatile and practical these are.  (Again, washable!)

And I'm also giving away a set of lovely mini-sachets (the exact fabrics will be a surprise!). . .

Tuck them into stinky gym bags or back packs, car trunks or glove boxes, coat closets. . . anywhere you'd like the fresh, calming scent of lavender to great you!  Handmade from reclaimed fabrics and fabric scraps with all-natural lavender.  No chemicals, no fillers, no additives.

So, how do you win ALL FOUR of these eco-friendly items to start the new autumn season?  Here are the details:

One mandatory entry -- just leave a comment!  I love hearing from you!  Why not share your favorite going-greener-in-a-busy-life tip with us?

Additional entries -- and please leave a separate comment here, telling me of each additional entry!
*If you're already a facebook friend or blog follower, just leave a comment and let me know!  (and thank you!)

My international readers are welcome to join in the giveaway, too!

And that's it!  I'll close comments on Sunday, August 28th -- and let Random.org pick the lucky winner!  Good luck!  :-)

~ Comments are now CLOSED, and the giveaway has ended! ~

Love, love, love the tote/shopping bags. Must have the apple one.

Hmmm,my green tip is to use handmade solid shampoo on your hair with a vinegar rinse.Handmade solid shampoo gives you all you need for clean hair and it's bio-degradable.A vinegar rinse costs only pennies and is environmentally friendly.

I commented on your post,Followed you on Twitter,Posted a link on fb,Friended you on fb,and followed your blog. Can you tell I would love to win?

LOVE the site. Got drawn in by the paperback wallet post...

Going green while busy? Clothesline. Takes an extra 10 minutes to hang a load, 10 minutes to take it down, and all those baby poop stains magically leave the diapers. Not much of an extra effort for that!

although I am past that stage (thank goodness) I breastfed my children and used cloth nappies which I dried on the clothesline. I rarely use a dryer; just have clotheslines under cover and outside! I only use a small amount of washing detergent powder and add bi-carb soda. Wow, looks like my life revolves around laundry (it does. lol)I love your bags, especially the tote bag from your fresh line. smiles, Alannah http://luvbooks-alannah.blogspot.com

o.k. I follow you on Facebook and I posted a link to this giveaway on Facebook. :)
I also wanted to say that something we do to save money is that we use cloth napkins and cloth "paper towels". We also use cloth pads (us girls) and we save plastic bags from the store for our trash cans at home. I would LOVE to start using reusable bags to take to the grocery store, though. My SIL was doing this in England and it was very nice. :) Hope I win!!

OHHH! I just love using my cloth bags for shopping--and your bags are super hip and stylish!! Perfect for when I go out:)

as for my going greener tip--I use my iPhone for coupons. Saves on ink, paper, and time on the computer!

Holey Mackerel, I bookmarked this to come back to it and enter and 34 comments later here I am!
This new line is SO inspiring, ma'am. My going greener tip for a busy lifestyle is: reduce the amount of packaging that comes into your home buy either buying in bulk or making your own stuff like laundry detergent or dish washing soap. Its also economically responsible as well!

What a great giveaway, Connie! Your market bags are uber-cute!

My going-greener-tip is to carry reusable bags everywhere. When I (or the boys) unload groceries, I put the reusable bags back in the van right away. Also if I'm shopping and I just get one or two items and I don't have a bag with me, I just carry out my items w/o a bag.
